Common Room Productions was founded in 2006 to support the development and production of The 10 Conditions of Love and has since grown with the development of several documentary features. Before then filmmaker Jeff Daniels worked for over 10 years in New York, Los Angeles and Australia as a researcher and in post production on a number of dramatic and documentary projects and features including:

Since this time Jeff has written and directed a number of short documentary films covering topics from Jewish-American identity through 50 years of Holocaust films to Gaelic Football culture in the Bronx.  His short film Curious, Aren't We? screened at the 2007 Jewish Film Festival in St. Kilda, Melbourne. Jeff's latest documentary The 10 Conditions of Love will screen at this year's Melbourne International Film Festival in August.  Jeff also teaches Video Production, Film Theory and Digital Animation in Melbourne, Australia.
